GERALDINE GIRVAN 2007

50 new exquisite oils and watercolours from a modern Scottish colourist

A favourite at the Chris Beetles Gallery, Geraldine has had a biennial solo exhibition here since 1989. She produces bold and vibrant paintings in a tradition which although a century old, is ever bright and vital. Fresh flowers stand out against brilliant, rich textiles in an explosion of colour. Inspired by painters such as Bonnard and Matisse, she creates a perpetual paradise of domestic and rural luxury.

21 March – 7 April 2007

A 32 page catalogue is available from the gallery at £10 post free (UK only).
