Chris Beetles Art Gallery - NORMAN PARKINSON

Norman Parkinson’s photographs helped define the look of British fashion and culture for over forty years. His wit, style and innovative methods ensured him a place at the forefront of international photography – as influential and as imitated as Irving Penn, Richard Avedon, Cecil Beaton, and the other great figures of his era. Continuing our series of exhibitions of British photographers, it is fitting that we now celebrate the career of the man who inspired a generation.

The show contains a variety of print types, from single, original vintage prints to wonderful modern editions of 21 that are controlled strictly and exclusively by the Norman Parkinson Archive. Click on the titles below to see the full cataloguing for each print.
