Published by H C Dickins in 1922 in an edition of 425 and priced at 40 Guineas for the set. 'The Arteries of Great Britain' was a set of five etchings celebrating the major river of Britain: The Thames, The Tyne, The Forth, The Clyde and The Mersey.
The etching shows the Port of London from the Surrey side, looking towards the Customs House.
