THIS IS A SOUVENIR OF PAUL JEAN CLAYS' SHIPS LYING OFF FLUSHING, WHICH WAS PAINTED IN 1869. IT WAS BEQUEATHED BY J M PARSONS TO THE NATIONAL GALLERY IN 1870.
