Hunt travelled to Greece and Italy in May 1931, his sketchbook (sb30) of that tour contains a sketch of 'Daphne' [sic] and is inscribed 'with Curtis Green RA & Mrs G. Venice in a few days then steamer to Athens via Corinth canal. voyage in Greece & car to hanging monasteries of Meteora etc etc back from Brindisi up east coast of Italy to Stresa on L Maggiore'.
