Paul Day (born 1967)

Paul Day studied at both Colchester and Dartington art schools before finally turning to sculpture at the Cheltenham School of Art in 1989-1991. On leaving, he began working as a professional sculptor immediately and was awarded a grant by the Prince of Wales Business Trust. His first solo show was in Paris in 1995 and he has subsequently exhibited in Frankfurt, Brussels, New York and London. His exceptional talent has caught the eye of many international collectors, and as a result, Paul has had work commissioned for both public and private collections including the Parliament of Brussels, the Hilton Group, Jeffrey Archer and the Battle of Britain Monument on the Embankment, Westminster, which is his first public monument in this country. Paul Day has regularly exhibited his work in France, where he lives.
