Maud Tindal Atkinson (1875-1954)

Maud Tindal Atkinson was a London based artist, who worked as a painter, miniaturist and illustrator. She exhibited at the Royal Academy, and in the provinces, and illustrated at least three books in a nursery style akin to that of Cicely Mary Barker. These were Rowland Gibson,
Patsy in Willow-Pat Land (1916), E H Paine, The Land of Nice New Clothes (1921) and Samuel Looker, My Favourite Nursery Rhymes (1922).
