The only time I ever played in Scotland was at the famous Hamilton Crescent in Partick, Glasgow. It was a Benson & Hedges Cup match for Gloucestershire right at the start of my career. It holds special memories for me because I was awarded my first B & H Man of the Match award for scoring 36 not out!

We were only chasing a target of 91 but we were soon in trouble on a muddy pitch at 46 for 6! It took us 44 overs to get over the winning line!!
