'I was captivated by the shadow of the tree. It was very bright sunshine, and there's always a couple of cats hanging around. It’s my neighbour's garden, and they have a little pond. I love the greenhouse, and those people's washing hanging out. Every so often, every few years, the washing changes in nature when somebody different moves in. But I just focused on the garden in this one because it was looking really lovely – A summer garden.'
