'Talking of painting on location, I recently visited Italy for the first time spending several days in Rome and the quaint, famous village of Assisi. The experience was so memorable I can't find the words to explain how brilliant a time I had. If I could find the words, this newsletter would become a whole book! Here are a couple of paintings I managed in the near-40 degree heat.
Both will be hanging in Chris Beetles Cricket Show this Summer. The history and the atmosphere of the place speaks for itself. Needless to say, I WILL be going back!'
