This work is part of the Parisian series that Peter Coker worked on in the winter of 2002. He stayed at the Hotel Châtelet on the north bank and painted the view from his hotel bedroom up and down the Seine towards the Pont au Change and Pont Neuf. This work looks south-west towards the Pont au Change.
