Published the year before Low took up his post as political cartoonist at the Evening Standard, this caricature features Gordon Hewart, Lord Chief Justice from March 1922 to October 1940. He had previously served as Solicitor General from 1916 to 1919 and Attorney General from 1919 to 1922.
